Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise inventory control coordinators to ensure in-stock plant inventory within the business unit in line with inventory cycles.
  • •Maintain inventory levels to keep turns and inventory dollars-to-sales dollars percentage within stated guidelines.
  • •Communicate with manufacturers, adjust purchase orders, and ensure on-time arrival by tracing inbound products.
  • •Analyze and adjust min/max inventory thresholds based on available lead times, and direct transfers of slower moving or dead material to plants with needs.
  • •Monitor aged inventory reports, create “hit lists,” and coordinate with plant contacts to rectify over- and under-stock issues to maintain optimal inventory levels.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Minimum 2 years of experience in related areas.
  • •Knowledgeable in company accounting procedures and inventory management concepts.
  • •Familiar with industry and company standard practices and procedures.
  • •Minimum 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
