Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform geotechnical engineering analyses using field investigation information collected by US-based teams.
  • •Interpret geotechnical investigations, laboratory testing results, subsurface data, geologic mapping, and groundwater information.
  • •Develop engineering recommendations for settlement, bearing capacity, slope stability, earth pressures, seepage, liquefaction, ground improvement, and geohazards.
  • •Support design and evaluation of deep and shallow foundations, retaining structures, embankments, dams, levees, and waste containment facilities.
  • •Prepare geotechnical reports and design packages, including calculations, engineering specifications, drawings, and QA/QC review deliverables.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering (or closely related).
  • •5-7 years of relevant professional experience.
  • •Demonstrated geotechnical design and analysis experience within a consulting engineering environment.
  • •Strong understanding of soil and rock mechanics, groundwater fundamentals, geotechnical/geohazard assessments, foundation engineering, and earthworks engineering.
  • •Software experience with tools such as gINT, OpenGround, PLAXIS 2D/3D, GeoStudio, SLIDE, SLOPE/W, Settle3, and L-Pile.
