Job Summary

Support the safe and reliable operation of the QantasLink fleet by enhancing the technical condition of aircraft and components in your structures & systems specialisation. Provide technical support to maintenance and operational teams across the business, including reliability monitoring and improvement, assessment of technical data and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, and review of repairs, modifications, and cost-effective engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Enhance the technical condition of aircraft and components within the structures & systems specialisation, supporting regulatory, reliability, and customer requirements.
•Support reliability monitoring and improvement by assessing technical data and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness.
•Review repair and modification solutions, and contribute to product improvement initiatives and operating cost reduction.
•Plan major components/modifications and support product improvement initiatives across the QantasLink business units.
•Provide technical guidance, peer review, and day-to-day coordination across the Technical Services team.

Key Requirements

•3–5 years’ experience in aviation maintenance and/or engineering.
•Engineering tertiary qualifications or Aircraft Maintenance Engineer qualifications.
•Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and structures, maintenance programs, and technical manuals (ideally including DHC-8 experience).
•Proven experience with system troubleshooting, technical investigations, and reliability analysis.
•Experience using maintenance information systems such as TRAX or MXI, plus strong data analysis and stakeholder management skills.
