Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies supporting capital purchases and production consumables.
  • •Apply technical understanding of production equipment to identify cost, space, and process optimization opportunities.
  • •Use data analytics to identify and drive process-related improvements.
  • •Build and own project budgets, compile funding requests, generate capital plans, and manage Total Cost of Ownership for managed categories.
  • •Conduct research and benchmarking/market analysis; communicate equipment status, schedules, risks, and mitigation actions to leadership while tracking projected and actual spend.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced degree with 9+ years of experience, or bachelor’s degree with 11+ years, or 15+ years working in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material/production planning, operations, or supply chain management.
  • •Experience in material cost control, including master production scheduling.
  • •Strong technical background to communicate with engineers and a business background for contracts and negotiations.
  • •Experience managing large-scale capital projects and extensive project management and organizational skills.
  • •Ability to conduct sourcing strategies, negotiations, and analytics with integrity in a fast-moving environment.
