Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and test RF hardware activities from preliminary design through integration.
  • •Design and optimize RF circuits, including receiver/exciter component chains and individual components such as filters, limiters, and couplers.
  • •Perform lab work for component characterization and module verification and integration.
  • •Test and handle sensitive RF hardware while supporting design of circuit and assemblies (CCAs) with RF or mixed signals.
  • •Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and perform schematic capture and detailed design for assigned projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM major, obtained by the start date.
  • •Experience and/or coursework in programming and/or simulation (MATLAB, Simulink, C/C++, or equivalent).
  • •Experience and/or coursework in two or more of: communication theory, digital signal processing, probability theory, stochastic signal processing, RF and electromagnetic theory.
  • •Solid background in RF electronics design considerations, with experience or relevant coursework.
  • •Preferred: current pursuit of an Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering degree focused on digital communications/communications systems and/or digital signal processing.
