Job Summary

Responsible for the shipping and receiving of soybeans at the Fairmont facility, including loading soybean meal and dry products into truck and rail cars. Maintain safe, clean work areas, manage product inventory using first-in-first-out principles, and complete shipping/receiving inspection documents. Operate loading/unloading equipment, inspect railcars and trucks prior to loading, and perform basic preventive maintenance while following plant, food safety, and safety culture requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Handle facility shipping and receiving for soybeans, including loading soybean meal and dry products into truck and rail cars and working in the control room.
•Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
•Manage product inventory using first-in-first-out shipping and rotation principles.
•Complete shipping, receiving, and inspection documents accurately and neatly.
•Operate loading/unloading equipment, conduct truck and railcar inspections prior to loading, and assist with basic preventative maintenance.

Key Requirements

•1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Production Operations.
•Must meet the minimum age requirement.
•High school diploma or GED (preferred).
•If required, pass pre-employment screenings including drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements, and FMSCA Clearinghouse.
•Ability to work independently, in confined spaces, and in hazardous environments.
