Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and debug routing and retention of harnesses, cables, and connectors for assembly, serviceability, and robust functionality.
  • •Perform hardware verification of built boards to ensure correct functionality.
  • •Debug hardware issues by probing test points and establishing root cause.
  • •Manage CAD (3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings) for LV, HV, and high-speed vehicle interconnects using SolidWorks and Altium.
  • •Interface cross-functionally and with OEMs, vendors, and partners to drive program delivery and identify best wire harness solutions for the vehicle platform.

Key Requirements

  • •BS or MS in Systems, Electrical, Hardware, Computer Science, or equivalent program.
  • •4+ years of experience in automotive wire harness design and electrical integration.
  • •Experience designing LV & HV harnesses and familiarity with ISO 6722 and SAE J1128.
  • •Ability to source, manage, and maintain vendor and supplier relationships for harness manufacturing and materials.
  • •Experience debugging hardware issues and ensuring correct functionality through verification and testing.
