Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop individual project Gantt charts in Primavera P6 from first principles aligned to the Delivery Programme WBS, identifying activities, tasks, and milestones.
  • •Establish realistic activity durations across the project lifecycle, including leads, lags, dependencies, contingency allowances (float), and critical path identification.
  • •Integrate individual project schedules into a consolidated Master Programme Schedule in Primavera P6 and maintain monthly updates, supporting enterprise-wide reporting.
  • •Review and analyse contractor programmes, evaluate tenders, assess the impact of changes/variations/amendments on programme, budget, and milestones, and support earned value analysis.
  • •Prepare programme and project controls reports and cost-loaded schedules to support cash-flow forecasting and expenditure profiling, and lead cross-project scheduling meetings to align methodologies and expectations.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience in project planning, scheduling, and project controls in large-scale infrastructure, engineering, energy, or construction environments, with advanced Primavera P6 expertise and strong MS Project proficiency.
  • •Proven ability to develop, integrate, and manage complex project and programme schedules, including baseline management, progress monitoring, critical path analysis, forecasting, change management, and performance reporting.
  • •Experience embedding scheduling frameworks, governance processes, standards, and assurance practices to improve schedule quality and compliance across multiple projects or portfolios.
  • •Demonstrated success delivering integrated schedules in complex, multi-disciplinary environments by coordinating, validating, and challenging inputs from contractors, consultants, developers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • •Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, analytical/problem-solving skills, and excellent communication for executive-level reporting and dashboards.
