Job Summary

Support and improve automation, tooling, and release processes that help teams deliver Sophos cloud-based services safely and consistently. You’ll work with CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot Linux build and deployment issues, and help manage Kubernetes (including Amazon EKS) environments. You’ll also use Terraform and scripting (Groovy, Python, Bash) to reduce manual work and strengthen DevSecOps practices, including security scanning integrations and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

•Support CI/CD pipelines and release automation for SaaS applications, microservices, and containerized workloads.
•Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot application builds across development, QA, and production environments.
•Assist with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS deployments, including health checks, configuration updates, and operational readiness activities.
•Use Terraform and automation scripting to provision and maintain cloud infrastructure and reduce manual release/build work.
•Participate in on-call/operational support rotations and troubleshoot release infrastructure and environment issues by reviewing logs and pipeline output.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 85,000 - 144,000

Key Requirements

•2+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, release engineering, infrastructure automation, software engineering, or a closely related role.
•Practical scripting experience with Groovy, Python, or Bash, and the ability to troubleshoot build, deployment, and environment issues.
•Working knowledge of Kubernetes concepts, with Amazon EKS experience preferred.
•Experience with CI/CD and release automation using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions, plus familiarity with branching, tagging, versioning, and progressive deployments.
•Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform (hands-on experience strongly preferred) and related automation/provisioning tools.
