Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, analyze, and test EMI filters for various Archer products, including inputs on value selection, component orientation, board layout guidance, and grounding strategies.
  • •Perform in-depth circuit and FEM simulations for emissions, susceptibility, ESD, and lightning strike scenarios.
  • •Provide detailed EMC recommendations to electrical, power electronics, and mechanical engineers for PCB board layout, cable shielding strategies, enclosure designs, and grounding.
  • •Work closely with EMC test engineers to design, test, and certify Archer products for DO-160G/MIL 461G.
  • •Coordinate with EMC test labs for aircraft-level and DO-160/MIL 461G pre-compliance and compliance testing.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 144,000 - 198,000

Key Requirements

  • •Strong background in EMI analysis and simulation of power electronics and electric circuits.
  • •Hands-on knowledge of circuit simulation tools such as MATLAB, PLECS, and PSIM, and Ansys EM tools including Q3D, SIWave, HFSS, and Maxwell.
  • •Experience with EMC equipment such as LISNs, antennas, BCI probes, EMI test receivers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, and impedance analyzers.
  • •Familiarity with EMC standards including DO-160, MIL-461, CISPR 12/16/25/32, UN ECE Regulation 10, and FCC Part 15/18.
