Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide nutrition-related aspects of care for patients with eating disorders and work closely with family members
  • •Develop and implement individualized treatment plans including initial nutrition assessment and meal plan/prescribed target weight ranges
  • •Guide exposure to fear/challenge foods and deliver evidence-based nutrition education to support recovery
  • •Coordinate with the interdisciplinary treatment team, communicate nutrition plan concerns, and echo treatment directives in family interactions
  • •Update treatment plans weekly, reassess nutritional needs, support discharge planning, and document thoroughly in the electronic medical record
