Job Summary

Join Airbus Defence and Space’s A330 MRTT Final Assembly Line team in Getafe (Madrid) on a double-shift schedule. You’ll prepare and certify base and line maintenance as B1 certifying staff, prepare aircraft for flight using Test Preparation Sheets, support ground test execution, perform retrofit mechanical works and discrepancy troubleshooting, and provide on-site support during aircraft delivery and test campaigns at customer sites and subcontractor premises.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare, perform, and certify base and line maintenance works as B1 certifying staff, supporting a small group of non-licensed technicians as needed.
•Prepare aircraft for flight by implementing Test Preparation Sheet (TPS) items on each aircraft prior to flight.
•Carry out production works to prepare aircraft for ground tests (managed by MRTT Design Office) and provide required support during test execution under FAL-Quality supervision.
•Perform retrofit mechanical works and tests in accordance with applicable retrofit service bulletins or job cards.
•Fix aircraft discrepancies, perform troubleshooting, and handle servicing, with willingness to support deliveries and conversion work at customer and subcontractor sites when required.

Key Requirements

•EASA PART 66 category B1 aircraft maintenance license with A330 rating (RR Trent 700 & GE CF6) without limitations (mandatory).
•Valid EASA PART 66 category B2 aircraft maintenance license with the A330 (highly recommended).
•Minimum 5 years of previous experience in Airbus aircraft maintenance environment, including at least 2 years working on the A330 (RR Trent 700 and/or GE CF6).
•Ability to demonstrate up-to-date aircraft continuous training and experience records in accordance with EASA regulations for this aircraft.
•Fluent English and negotiation-level Spanish; willing to work abroad for limited periods on a regular basis.
