Key Responsibilities

  • •Cultivate relationships with government leaders, elected officials, and policymakers to convey Cisco’s perspective and priorities.
  • •Engage in local policymaking and regulatory processes, including participation in industry coalitions, government hearings, and relevant meetings.
  • •Develop and execute advocacy strategies advancing Cisco’s core public policy initiatives.
  • •Support public sector sales and business development teams with political, policy, and purpose-driven initiatives.
  • •Monitor and analyze political and policy trends, and prepare position papers, regulatory filings, testimony, and briefings.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of political and public policy experience in government, corporate government affairs, trade associations, law firms, and/or public policy institutions.
  • •Deep understanding of the political and regulatory landscape in the region, including technology policy legislative and administrative processes.
  • •Familiarity with public policy issues impacting the technology industry locally and globally.
  • •Near-native fluency in English, Dutch, and French.
  • •Preferred: telecommunications and technology-related experience in private and public sectors.
