•Apply engineering approaches and technical standards to the development, modernization, and maintenance of platform applications.
•Support continuous software delivery pipelines and assist with release train management across assigned technology platforms.
•Perform refactoring, code modernization, and technical debt reduction to prevent brittle systems.
•Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs, performance bottlenecks, and system configuration issues to ensure high availability.
•Ensure automated deployments and engineering implementations comply with federal security standards, government baselines, and DISA STIGs, while maintaining documentation.

Salary: USD 94,000 - 120,000 annually

Key Requirements

•DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CySA+, CCNA Security).
•6-9 years or commensurate experience with systems engineering supporting software applications, systems infrastructure, or deployment pipelines.
•Experience with application modernization, refactoring, and technical debt remediation.
•Strong understanding of SDLC and modern CI/CD environments.
•Strong troubleshooting skills for software bugs, performance tuning, and maintaining system baselines (using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow).
