Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead team efforts to design, develop, test, document, and support complex software systems, applications, automation, and integrations.
  • •Drive RPG development, enhancements, and modernization efforts across large-scale, high-impact initiatives spanning multiple applications and business domains.
  • •Serve as the primary IBM iSeries/IBM i subject matter expert, diagnosing and resolving complex issues across batch jobs, interfaces, APIs, and downstream systems.
  • •Lead Level 3 production support and triage for business-critical incidents, performing root cause analysis and driving corrective/preventive actions.
  • •Influence engineering standards and technical direction by translating business needs into scalable solutions, presenting designs/recommendations to stakeholders, and partnering cross-functionally to improve reliability, service availability, and operational effectiveness.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •6+ years developing, supporting, and maintaining enterprise-scale software solutions (SDLC expert).
  • •6+ years with IBM i systems and RPG development, plus 6+ years with Python.
  • •4+ years supporting complex integrations and operationally critical business systems.
  • •Experience troubleshooting highly complex production issues and leading Level 3 support activities; include experience using AI for SDLC/day-to-day activities.
