Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and support settlement negotiations in complex product liability, mass tort, toxic tort, and consumer product litigation matters.
  • •Help develop settlement structures and eligibility criteria.
  • •Serve as primary legal and operations lead to ensure settlements are executed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with legal requirements.
  • •Work with plaintiffs’ counsel to negotiate, draft, review, and finalize settlement documents, resolving claimant disputes or appeals.
  • •Manage teams reviewing and assessing qualification and categorization of incoming claims, and oversee settlement implementation and claims administration (including workflow and quality assurance).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,000 - 350,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • •Active and in good standing with the local state Bar, or eligible to waive in.
  • •Minimum of 8 years of significant legal experience, focused on mass torts in drug, medical device, and/or consumer product areas, including at least three years of litigation practice at a law firm.
  • •Claims resolution experience, preferably for pharmaceutical products, medical devices, or consumer health/consumer-facing products.
  • •Experience drafting, reviewing, and/or negotiating settlement documents, with strong contracting principles knowledge.
