Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the full mechanical design lifecycle for rugged, mission-critical hardware, from architecture assessment through documentation and CAD model evaluation.
  • •Translate operational feedback into detailed mechanical design evolution, driving innovation and scalability.
  • •Own the CAD-to-prototype pipeline by coordinating fabrication and validating performance with rigorous benchtop testing.
  • •Ensure mechanical integration across complex subsystems and extreme operating environments, including shock, vibration, environmental sealing, and field maintainability.
  • •Manage production drawings/specifications and BOM, oversee configuration/change management, and support qualification campaigns with cross-functional teams.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • •5+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience with demonstrated design ownership in a team setting.

  • •Hands-on prototyping experience and comfort moving between CAD, machine shop, and test bench.
