  • •Conceptualize the right modeling approach for logistics challenges at scale with your squad lead and stakeholders.
  • •Innovate modeling solutions using machine learning, Operations Research, and Statistics to drive business value.
  • •Pair-program with your squad to engineer solutions that automate model retraining and generation of predictions.
  • •Identify and define data needs with data engineering and tech teams to support project roadmaps.
  • •Work with (semi-)structured data from the BigQuery data warehouse and process with Spark where necessary.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 5 years of experience applying machine learning methods to real-world datasets.
  • •Fluency in Python and familiarity with scientific/visualization libraries such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib, and plotly.
  • •Experience solving regression and classification problems using statistical/linear and non-linear models and ensemble models (Random Forest, XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost).
  • •Experience with time-series forecasting, Operations Research, and Statistics.
  • •Ability to work with big data platforms (BigQuery/Spark) and write SQL queries; able to write maintainable, best-practice code.
