Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive and operate a tractor trailer combination while monitoring the temperature of a refrigerated trailer
  • •Ensure all required shipping documentation is available for inspection and accompanies each shipment when delivered
  • •Maintain compliance records, including driver logs, fuel purchases, mileage records, and other required documentation
  • •Perform duties in accordance with company policies and procedures while complying with Federal, State, and local regulations for safe commercial vehicle operation
  • •Represent Tyson Foods safely and professionally when interacting with customers and the public

Key Requirements

  • •Valid CDL-A license in good standing in state of residence
  • •Ensure required shipping documentation (manifests, security seal sheets, bills of lading, shipping orders, freight bills, and related paperwork) is available for inspection and accompanies each shipment
  • •Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations, including driver logs, fuel purchases, mileage records, and other records required by law and company policy
  • •Perform all duties according to company policies and procedures while complying with Federal, State, and local regulations for safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle
  • •Be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
