Key Responsibilities

  • •Develops and implements business strategies for the hotel aligned with Choice Hotels and owner objectives; monitors status and adjusts strategies as needed.
  • •Directs hotel operations to achieve profit, customer service, and revenue goals; collaborates with owners and corporate to ensure alignment with standards and expectations.
  • •Leads revenue growth by developing and implementing a sales and marketing plan with the Management Services Team and builds a public relations strategy.
  • •Oversees recruitment, training, compensation, recognition, and performance management to engage employees and maintain a high-performing team.
  • •Ensures compliance with local, state, and national laws and standards, and represents management in owner relations; promotes a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum ten years senior hotel leadership experience required.
  • •Minimum three–five year previous General Manager experience in a full service environment required.
  • •Minimum two years upper upscale hotel experience required.
  • •Bachelors degree preferred.
  • •Proven leadership skills and results-oriented.
