Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform routine and advanced maintenance on BEUMER ICS components, including diverters, scanners, and third-party equipment interfacing with the system.
  • •Diagnose and resolve faults across mechanical, electrical, and control subsystems using structured troubleshooting.
  • •Respond to system interruptions (carrier jams, sensor faults, control logic errors) and execute resets and root-cause analysis.
  • •Interface with BEUMER SAC and PLC systems to monitor performance and execute logic-based interventions; inspect system health and recommend optimizations.
  • •Maintain accurate maintenance/fault/spare-part logs, support upgrades and hardware retrofits, and follow Health, Safety, and Quality standards (including lockout/tagout and PPE).

Key Requirements

  • •Associate degree or technical certification in mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.
  • •5+ years of hands-on experience in automated material handling systems, preferably airport or logistics environments.
  • •Must be eligible to obtain and maintain airside security clearance.
  • •Deep understanding of mechatronic systems (sensors, actuators, motors, and controls) and fault diagnostics.
  • •Proficiency with BEUMER SAC systems and PLC programming (Siemens preferred), plus knowledge of Profinet, CANbus, and other fieldbus protocols.
