Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and participate in field programs including borehole drilling, test pitting, in situ testing, instrumentation installation, and construction monitoring.
  • •Analyze geotechnical and geological data to develop recommendations for foundations, retaining structures, earthworks, pavements, and slope stability.
  • •Prepare clear, defensible technical reports such as investigations, design briefs, and construction documentation.
  • •Provide geotechnical input to multidisciplinary teams and support innovative, data-driven solutions.
  • •Mentor junior staff in field methods, analysis techniques, and safety practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering with a geotechnical focus.
  • •Registration as an EIT in Canada with relevant Canadian consulting experience.
  • •Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Geotechnical or Geological Engineer-in-training.
  • •Valid Canadian driver’s license.
  • •Ability to support field programs and work safely in remote/isolated environments and varied conditions.
