Contracts Lead responsible for managing and prioritizing contract review across supported businesses, ensuring alignment with group legal and commercial standards, and providing strategic leadership. Leads drafting, negotiation, and administration of client contracts, NDAs, MSAs, and joint venture agreements within a hybrid work setting, with a focus on energy-related industries and complex contracting structures.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and prioritise contract review workload across supported businesses in alignment with business requirements.
•Manage the application of Group Legal and Commercial standards across the supported business, in conjunction with commercial leads.
•Assist and support the implementation of common ways of working to maximise value, gain efficiencies and minimise risk to Wood.
•Provide direction, strategy, and leadership to direct reports (if applicable).
•Develop and maintain key internal interfaces within supported businesses and SME in contract law and contracting policies.

Key Requirements

•JD (or international equivalent)
•Currently licensed, admitted to practice, and in good standing in the United States
•Experience and proven track record of contract review, drafting and negotiation in a service company environment
•Experience in negotiating and setting up JVs, MOUs, bidding agreements and consortium agreements
•Experience leading and managing a team
