Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement and enforce the site-specific Safety Plan in accordance with OSHA, EM 385-1-1, and Army regulations.
  • •Conduct regular site inspections and job hazard analyses to identify hazards during equipment turn-in and related operations.
  • •Lead safety orientations and recurring training, including PPE usage, forklift and equipment operation, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and incident reporting.
  • •Lead investigations of accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; maintain incident logs and OSHA reporting documentation.
  • •Develop hazard control measures for heavy equipment, material handling, and military logistics; track safety KPIs and support government inspections.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of safety experience on government, military, or industrial logistics sites.
  • •Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910, EM 385-1-1, DA PAM 385-10, and Army site safety practices.
  • •Implement and enforce safety requirements across site operations (including material handling, equipment movement, and personnel operations).
  • •Basic English reading and writing proficiency.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and the ability to maintain required records and documentation.
