Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee construction and contractor deliverables for mining & metals projects, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and Wood's standards.
  • •Lead and coordinate multiple project facets, supervising on small projects or a subset of disciplines on larger ones to ensure on-time execution.
  • •Manage one or more field disciplines or a portion of the project, following contractual, company, and client requirements.
  • •Ensure project work is executed in accordance with quality standards and project requirements, monitoring progress and reporting against the plan.
  • •Maintain safety, quality and environmental responsibilities, ensuring appropriate training and inductions for workers and proactive risk management.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of field construction experience or 20+ years in a relevant industry, typically gained through an engineering degree.
  • •Excellent oral and written communication skills for diverse client groups (internal and external).
  • •Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in teams, providing leadership, support, direction, and consultation.
  • •Ability to manage multiple initiatives with strong organizational skills to meet project deadlines.
  • •Ability to detect safety, quality, cost, and schedule challenges and develop preventive, mitigation, or corrective actions.
