Job Summary

Supervise Family Services Staff in a federally contracted ICE short-term residential facility, ensuring safe, structured, and trauma-informed delivery of services for children, families, pregnant women, and other residents. Lead shift coverage, coaching, and documentation compliance; oversee resident supervision, family engagement, activities, and basic care support. Respond to incidents and emergencies, escalate safety concerns, coordinate with medical and behavioral health teams, and maintain accurate records and case notes.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise Family Services Staff during assigned shifts to ensure safe, compliant service delivery.
•Provide coaching, guidance, performance oversight, and address employee concerns; conduct shift briefings.
•Oversee resident supervision and family-centered activities, including access to basic necessities, hygiene, meals, and supportive responses using trauma-informed approaches.
•Respond to behavioral incidents and emergencies; direct de-escalation and crisis intervention; document and escalate significant concerns.
•Maintain compliant documentation and case records, support audits/inspections, and coordinate with medical, behavioral health, and facility leadership for continuity of services.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Sociology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
•3+ years of experience in residential services, family services, direct care, social services, or a related field.
•1+ year of supervisory or team lead experience.
•Experience working with children, families, vulnerable populations, or culturally diverse populations.
•Ability to speak, read, and write English; bilingual required (Spanish preferred).
