Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide senior technical and strategic leadership for healthcare electrical engineering projects across Ohio and the broader Midwest.
  • •Lead planning, design, coordination, and delivery of complex healthcare electrical systems through all project phases.
  • •Oversee engineering deliverables (calculations, specifications, studies) and support construction administration and commissioning/turnover activities.
  • •Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, deliverables, QA/QC, profitability, risk/change management, and financial performance.
  • •Develop and maintain client relationships, support pursuits/proposal development, and mentor engineering staff while expanding WSP’s Healthcare market presence.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •10+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience in building systems design.
  • •Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction required (Ohio licensure preferred, ability to obtain after hire).
  • •Significant experience designing and overseeing healthcare electrical systems across power distribution and life-safety needs.
  • •Demonstrated success leading complex, multidisciplinary healthcare projects and mentoring engineering professionals.
