Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver housekeeping, cleaning, catering, and customer services to agreed standards across allocated clinical areas and departments.
  • •Provide day-to-day direction and support to Domestic Assistants working within your area.
  • •Serve patient meals and beverages and ensure dining areas are cleared and cleaned afterwards.
  • •Maintain hygiene in kitchen/server areas, equipment, and dishwashers; distribute clean linen; and move soiled linen and waste to collection points.
  • •Complete cleaning tasks and records, order goods and materials through Team Leaders, report defects and hazards, and communicate effectively with patients and clinical colleagues.

  • •Be subject to satisfactory Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership as part of pre-employment checks.
  • •Have good literacy and numeracy skills.
