Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate specialized key cutting equipment and diagnostic scan tools to cut and program keys/remotes for various vehicle makes and models.
  • •Drive the Key Van throughout the lot to locate and service units that do not currently have a key.
  • •Retrieve key codes and interface with vehicle immobilizer systems using a laptop and Windows-based software.
  • •Manage Key Van inventory of key blanks, fobs, batteries, and transponders, replenishing supplies as needed.
  • •Accurately record and track vehicles processed and keys generated during the shift to ensure data integrity.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 20 - 25 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 6 months of Automotive Technician experience with electrical systems, diagnostics, or key programming (or equivalent education/experience).
  • •Must be able to operate a computer and Windows-based software.
  • •Able to work alone and manage time effectively without direct supervision.
  • •Must be able to drive an automobile and possess a valid driver’s license.
  • •High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
