Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead support for Standard Life Master Trust Trustee Board (SLMTC), including its sub-committees and Strategists Committee.
  • •Attend relevant board and committee meetings and manage the production of material needed to support the trustee bodies and strategists (e.g., chairs’ annual reports and TCFD-related inputs).
  • •Manage relationships with business representatives and external suppliers supporting governance activities.
  • •Report to the Workplace Governance and Policy Lead and liaise closely with company secretariate and chairs of trustee board/sub-committees.
  • •Support trading activity by answering Master Trust governance questions for the Bid team and keeping the distribution team updated on governance developments.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive and in-depth knowledge of workplace DC pensions, preferably Master Trust.

  • •Ability to self-motivate and use initiative to deliver objectives using relationship and project management skills.
