Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design, build, and evolution of iOS features using SwiftUI (and Objective-C where relevant) to support priority customer journeys and growth use cases.
  • •Partner with Product Owners, Designers, and Architects to shape requirements into clear technical solutions, producing robust engineering designs and estimates.
  • •Own and drive iOS architecture and technical direction, including modularisation, dependency management, navigation, state management, and design patterns.
  • •Ensure quality by establishing and maintaining automated testing (unit, integration, UI) and improving test strategy and coverage.
  • •Improve delivery reliability by optimising CI/CD pipelines, code review practices, and release processes; drive production readiness with monitoring, troubleshooting, defect fixes, performance tuning, and post-incident reviews, mentoring engineers across regions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
  • •Strong hands-on iOS engineering experience with Swift, including deep UIKit knowledge and exposure to SwiftUI; solid understanding of concurrency, networking, persistence, and performance/memory management.
  • •Proficient with iOS build and dependency management tooling including Xcode, Swift Package Manager, and/or CocoaPods/Carthage; experience with build configurations and release signing.
  • •Proven iOS technical leadership across architecture, modularisation, design patterns, code reviews, refactoring, managing technical debt, and designing for testability and maintainability.
  • •Strong quality mindset with test automation (XCTest; XCUITest a plus) and resilience for API integration (REST/JSON, error handling, retry/fallback), plus observability concepts and agile delivery with Jira/Confluence.
