Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee technical delivery of AV integration projects, ensuring implementation aligns with project goals, scope, and requirements.
  • •Finalize design documentation and engineering outputs for installation and commissioning, including drawings, infrastructure/network requirements, and bill of materials.
  • •Provide engineering support to the project manager with required submittal packages and track budget/personnel needs with operations.
  • •Collaborate with installation, commissioning, and programming teams to create guides, checklists, and field documentation; troubleshoot technical issues during installation/commissioning.
  • •Assemble technical closeout deliverables (as-built drawings and programming files) and support job sites through travel as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Review and validate preliminary AV project design documents, including SOWs and contracts, for quality, completeness, feasibility, and technical/logistical risks.
  • •Create and manage engineering documentation (e.g., CAD-based infrastructure drawings, equipment placement, riser diagrams, elevations) and produce cable pull sheets and network coordination.
  • •Conduct engineering calculations (including heat/power and structural needs) and finalize the bill of materials by auditing and approving line items.
  • •Demonstrate strong communication skills to work with internal teams and external stakeholders, including coordinating kickoff concerns and providing technical updates.
  • •Have experience troubleshooting AV control systems and systems programming (e.g., DSP programming and control system troubleshooting such as AMX/Crestron/Q-SYS) and ability to create/use test plans.
