Key Responsibilities

•Lead on motion design by animating Canva’s design and brand assets into distinctive, performant work.
•Ship social-first motion content in sprint cycles, learning from weekly data to improve results.
•Create world-class YouTube assets with pacing, storytelling, polish, retention, and ad performance in mind.
•Recut creator and UGC footage into native-feeling edits across Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and similar formats.
•Support the broader marketing team as a flexible craft resource, including occasional light graphic design when needed.

Key Requirements

•3–5 years of motion design experience with a portfolio of shipped work across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, covering both short- and longer-form formats.
•Fluency in After Effects or Cavalry to take a brief from concept to delivery as motion design core to your craft.
•Solid video editing skills in CapCut, Canva Video and/or Premiere Pro, with comfort in a social-first cut.
•Strong interest in social and platform-native thinking, including the ability to create curiosity gaps and introduce the product seamlessly.
•Comfort with a fast feedback loop using weekly performance numbers and adjusting without ego.
