•Perform daily field inspections of electrical systems, roadway lighting, communications infrastructure, and variable message signage; maintain detailed records and documentation.
•Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements through comprehensive inspection activities.
•Participate in punch lists, testing, and commissioning for electrical system and equipment installations; validate testing results meet applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.
•Provide guidance, on-the-job training, and mentorship to new employees and junior inspection staff; coordinate with contractors and other trade inspectors and prepare progress reports.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or GED plus 8 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
•U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
•Experience on transportation-related projects including roadways, bridges, rail, and tunnels.
•Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field or Construction Management (preferred).
•Good communication skills, ability to follow instructions, and strong time-management/self-motivation (preferred/required to succeed).
