Key Responsibilities

•Own market intelligence, brand presence, and ecosystem growth across Sub-Saharan Africa with an initial focus on Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa.
•Gather regional intelligence across DeFi, crypto capital markets, payments, remittances, and institutional use cases, and track resulting developments and engagement activities.
•Identify potential market participants and ecosystem contacts; respond to and document genuine inbound partnership inquiries without active solicitation or promotion in regulated jurisdictions without applicable authorization.
•Partner with Commercial and Business Development teams to relay inbound inquiries, share intelligence, and support compliant market engagement and regulatory outreach activities.
•Orchestrate cross-functional execution with Product, Solutions, Operations, Marketing, Policy, Legal, and Compliance to relay market feedback and support compliant ecosystem engagement.

Key Requirements

•14+ years of experience in business development, growth, market expansion, or general management.
•Proven track record driving growth, revenue, or transaction volume in fintech, payments, crypto, or financial infrastructure.
•Demonstrated ability to win market share by converting customers from competing platforms or growing first movers.
•Strong commercial instincts with measurable, execution-focused outcomes and cross-functional partnership execution experience.
•Deep understanding of crypto markets, stablecoins, DeFi, payments, remittances, or institutional financial flows.
