Lead project planning and execution for high voltage/substation projects within a regional Ohio Power Delivery portfolio. Drive scheduling, budgeting, vendor coordination, and client relationship management while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the project planning process for multiple concurrent projects from initiation through close-out, including design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
•Manage project schedule, budget, and resources (including external vendors/contractors) to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
•Lead client discussions and develop/grow client relationships; serve as primary project authority on major project-related issues.
•Track metrics and provide reporting to stakeholders; ensure compliance with regulatory, corporate, and department procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
•Oversee cross-functional teams of technical professionals, manage hours/expenses, deliverables, and contractual obligations to achieve project goals.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management or related field within the Power & Energy Market
•10+ years of relevant post-education experience, preferably in a project management role within the Power Delivery/Utility Industry
•Minimum of 3 years of experience working for IOUs, IPPs, Co-Ops, Munis, etc.
•Minimum of 3 years of experience leading engineering and/or construction teams on medium to large electrical utility scale projects (high voltage/EHV)
•Proficiency with project management processes/tools including Contract Management, Earned Value Management, Change Management, Risk Management, Schedule Management (Primavera P6 or equivalent), and Financial Management
