Job Summary

Lead the identification, development, and commercialization of new or alternative packaging solutions for cross-functional projects across multiple operations. Manage complex work independently while supporting Research & Development and Supply Chain Engineering initiatives, including plant/pilot/lab trials and technical specification approvals. Serve as a packaging subject-matter expert, troubleshoot packaging and manufacturing issues, and present results to leadership. This role is onsite with travel to manufacturing plants across the Conagra network.

•Lead technical delivery for short-term continuity projects and support higher-complexity packaging initiatives across operations.
•Develop cost-saving, innovation, and quality improvement ideas for packaging solutions.
•Plan, execute, and analyze plant, pilot plant, and lab trials independently.
•Review, interpret, develop, and approve technical specifications and serve as a packaging subject-matter expert for key platforms.
•Identify and troubleshoot complex manufacturing and packaging issues; prepare and present technical results to leadership.

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 82,000 - 120,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in packaging, engineering, or a related field.
•Minimum of 5 years of packaging industry experience, preferably in consumer packaged goods.

•Strong collaboration and communication skills, including presenting technical results to senior leaders.
