Job Summary

Provide roadside vehicle assistance for Allianz Partners: attend breakdown calls, assess and diagnose faults with modern tools, and repair at the scene when safe. Make repair-vs-recovery decisions, coordinate recovery/workshop attention as needed, and manage each case end-to-end with clear customer communication. Operate from a fully equipped van starting/ending from home, maintain tools and accurate system notes, and work in an environment using AI, machine learning, data analytics, and cloud-based tools.

Key Responsibilities

•Attend roadside assistance calls, assess situations, diagnose faults using modern tools, and repair at the scene where safe and possible.
•Make safety-led decisions on repair versus recovery; arrange professional recovery and dealer workshop attention when needed.
•Own each job end-to-end by communicating with customers, setting expectations, and providing reassurance.
•Operate and maintain a fully equipped van, manage tools and parts, follow safety procedures, and keep accurate system notes.
•Meet service, safety, and quality standards while working efficiently toward achievable targets.

Salary: GBP 41,200 annually

•Proven experience as a vehicle or roadside technician able to work independently at the scene as the sole decision-maker.
•Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills with modern equipment to identify issues quickly and choose the safest fastest route.
•Confident, calm customer communication to manage expectations and safety as the face of Allianz Partners.
•Comfortable using IT, mobile apps, and diagnostic software with accurate digital data capture.
•Full UK driving licence and confidence driving a fully equipped van; be prepared to travel across Plymouth or Belfast and surrounding areas.
