Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide proactive and strategic leadership for the structural engineering discipline to ensure delivery of project and work-site deliverables.
  • •Perform engineering review of permit applications, design plans/specifications, standby plans, engineering contracts, and construction inspections for regulatory and engineering standard compliance.
  • •Lead larger-scale structural engineering projects by overseeing contributors, project budgets, schedules, expenses, and supervision of subcontractors and staff.
  • •Support business pursuit and execution of bridge inspection and infrastructure work, including proposal/project scopes, timelines, pricing, and budgetary metrics.
  • •Mentor and lead assigned staff while maintaining workplace safety and staying current on structural engineering techniques and practices.

  • •Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • •Professional Engineering (PE) licensure in Maryland, DC, and Virginia.
  • •10+ years of relevant bridge inspection experience.
