Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for power and cooling infrastructure offerings from market definition and requirements through launch, sustaining, and end of life.
  • •Define the power and cooling roadmap aligned with PowerEdge server and AI/GPU platform roadmaps to ensure readiness for next-generation high-density compute at launch.
  • •Evaluate build/buy/partner options for cooling and power technologies and manage relationships with ODM/OEM partners, cooling vendors, and facility infrastructure providers.
  • •Develop business cases including attach-rate models, solution bundling, and TCO analysis; present to senior leadership for portfolio decisions.
  • •Work with cross-functional teams across engineering, supply chain, procurement, and services to drive roadmap planning and execution, and evangelize the offerings with sales and customers.

Salary: USD 186,150 - 240,900 annually

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree (or 8+ with a Master’s, or a PhD with 5+ years) in datacenter power and cooling infrastructure.
  • •Deep expertise in liquid cooling architectures (direct-to-chip cold plates, CDUs, manifolds, immersion cooling, facility water integration) and rack-level power delivery (PDUs, busways, 48V/high-voltage DC trends, PSU/battery backup, power capping/telemetry).
  • •Working knowledge of ASHRAE thermal guidelines and Open Compute Project (OCP) cooling environments, and familiarity with enterprise compute/AI-GPU platforms, storage, and networking to align power/cooling with the broader portfolio.
  • •Demonstrated commercial acumen including BOM costing, P&L ownership, pricing strategy, and building business cases for attach/complementary products and power/cooling TCO modeling.
  • •End-to-end program leadership experience defining projects, gathering requirements, and coordinating cross-functional teams to scope, schedule, and deploy complex hardware/infrastructure solutions using quantitative data.
  • •Hands-on experience deploying liquid-cooled AI/HPC clusters or high-density rack solutions at enterprise/CSP scale.
