Senior Manager, Staff Counsel - Hackensack, NJ

Manage multiple Staff Counsel office activities for GEICO in New Jersey, overseeing defense of lawsuits involving GEICO insureds, including liability, property damage, and UM/UIM and subrogation matters. Lead associate hiring, appraisals, personnel actions, and discipline while providing legal research, opinions, and trial support. Train and supervise attorneys, improve office statistics and productivity, and ensure compliance with GEICO policies and applicable bar/CLE requirements.
