Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform AV installation tasks including cable pulls/terminations, system equipment/components installation, and rack fabrication/wiring.
  • •Lead and direct installation crews on less complex projects while coordinating and reporting progress to the Project Manager.
  • •Read and interpret system schematics and architectural/construction blueprints.
  • •Use hand and power tools to solder/crimp connectors and test point-to-point cabling functionality.
  • •Serve as a customer liaison on site, coordinate with other trades, and communicate daily job site status; travel to various job sites as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 2–4 years of audiovisual installation experience.
  • •Valid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record meeting AVI-SPL Driving Privileges standards.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Intermediate proficiency installing, terminating, and troubleshooting low-voltage cabling (HDMI, CAT5e/6, fiber optic) and wiring methods (conduit runs, cable trays).
  • •Intermediate understanding of network infrastructure integration with AV systems (IP-based systems, streaming, cloud-based services).
