Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead firmware team that delivers power management, security, networking and platform memory setup firmware.
  • •Plan, track and deliver all firmware deliverables.
  • •Design, develop, and debug firmware for internal/external systems and platforms using AMD APU/CPU.
  • •Design firmware features required by AMD APU/CPU and participate in day-to-day firmware development using C.
  • •Interact with internal organizations, vendors, and partners to address firmware requirements and support customer escalations.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years hands-on firmware development experience in emulation, simulation and post-silicon environments; emulation experience is mandatory.
  • •Strong proficiency in C language programming.
  • •Good understanding and experience with BIOS, power management and PCIe; knowledge of SoC power management, CPU/Device power states, hot-plug.
  • •Experience with memory recognition and configuration code; DDR4/DDR5, NVDIMM, and various DIMM types (UDIMM/SODIMM/RDIMM/LRDIMM/LPDDR).
  • •Security firmware experience; knowledge of silicon security subsystems, root of trust, TPM/fTPM, Widevine; excellent communication and articulation skills.
