Job Summary

Lead a team of Product Engineers responsible for the design, enhancement, and commercialization of Oldcastle Infrastructure product lines across multiple brand categories. Own strategic engineering projects and customer-driven initiatives, guiding work from concept through commercialization using stage-gate processes. Drive product lifecycle execution, regulatory approval activities, and continuous improvement of engineering workflows, documentation, and design standards. Partner across operations, sales, customer service, and marketing while representing the company externally as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead, mentor, and develop Product Engineers, including workload prioritization, performance management, and delivery of high-quality engineering output.
•Own strategic, high-visibility engineering projects and contribute to new product development using a structured stage-gate approach.
•Lead product design execution including prototyping, validation, and regulatory approval activities, supporting the full product lifecycle.
•Champion scalable engineering processes (design control, ECM/ECO, NPD governance) and improve engineering workflows, documentation quality, and design standards.
•Partner with Operations, Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing to support production readiness and provide technical support for customer-facing activities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a related discipline.
•8+ years of hands-on product development experience with physically manufactured products.
•Prior mentorship, project leadership, or informal supervisory experience.
•Proficiency in 3D modeling and PDM/Vault systems (Inventor and SolidWorks preferred).
•Knowledge of industry standards such as SCTE, AAHSTO, UL, and Telcordia.
