Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently conduct site inspections in the selected ELV/discipline.
  • •Review design information, tolerances, test procedures, and recorded results for compliance with specifications and industry codes.
  • •Produce documentation to a high standard, including Site Observation Reports and other project deliverables.
  • •Liaise with contractors and commissioning teams professionally, and carry out site observations for installation quality.
  • •Act as technical authority and leader: support the project manager, mentor colleagues, track tasks/milestones, and maintain a daily diary of events and decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •Have an MEP/Building Services Engineering degree (or equivalent) such as BSc Electrical Engineering or BSc Building Services Engineering.
  • •Have at least 8 years of job-related experience (or 10+ with a College Diploma; or 12+ with a College/Trade Certificate).
  • •Have experience in data centers (essential).
  • •Hold relevant qualifications such as HNC/HND, ONC/OND, or MEP trade time-served with City & Guilds.
  • •Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status and CSA Grade 5 qualification are desirable, and Certified Commissioning Authority (BCA/ACG/NEBB) is desirable but not essential.
