Manage hazardous materials, coordinate environmental permits, and engage with regulators, communities, and environmental stakeholders to address concerns and maintain HSE programs using systems such as ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 and ERP knowledge (SAP preferred).

Key Responsibilities

•Perform environmental assessments to identify potential risks, hazards, and impacts on health and safety.
•Develop and implement environmental management plans to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
•Monitor environmental performance and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
•Investigate environmental incidents, accidents, and non-compliance events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
•Manage hazardous materials safely and conduct air and water quality monitoring, environmental impact assessments, and permit/approval processes while engaging stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Management (or equivalent professional degree in MMUP Engineer Registration (UPDA)).
•In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and standards, including air quality, water quality, waste management, and pollution prevention.
•Ability to conduct comprehensive environmental risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
•Proficiency in environmental monitoring techniques and equipment for air and water quality, soil contamination, and hazardous material exposure.
•Familiarity with HSE management systems such as ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001; ERP knowledge with SAP functional skills preferred.
