Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and deliver technical documentation that meets customer requirements using design drawings, LSAR outputs, and OEM manuals/data.
  • •Coordinate timely provision of technical inputs with engineering teams, subcontractors, and Supply Chain colleagues for compliant project delivery.
  • •Manage documentation lifecycle within a CSDB environment, maintaining accuracy, consistency, and configuration control.
  • •Produce complete, coherent, and consistent technical data and documentation and ensure quality and product safety for scheduled work.
  • •Support documentation governance by applying Technical Documentation Management Plans, understanding stakeholders/contract deliverables, and responding to customer requests as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 45,500

Key Requirements

  • •HNC qualification (or equivalent experience) with demonstrable experience producing technical documentation.
  • •Working level knowledge of DEF STAN 00-600, JSP 886, S1000D, and JSP 822.
  • •Knowledge of technical documentation within the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) discipline and through-life support requirements.
  • •Ability to manage documentation throughout its lifecycle in a Common Source Database (CSDB) environment with accuracy, consistency, and configuration control.
  • •Understanding of key stakeholders, contract objectives, and deliverables, with awareness of relevant standards and techniques.
