Key Responsibilities

  • •Champion the discipline team and drive departmental goals and the long-term technology roadmap.
  • •Own fluid and thermodynamics disciplines for assigned projects from start to finish, delivering on milestones.
  • •Take accountability for relevant requirements, either overseeing development or providing final sign-off aligned to project objectives.
  • •Proactively identify improvements in projects and processes, and implement change in a fast-paced environment.
  • •Collaborate with stakeholders for yearly goal setting and, as needed, coach junior engineers’ professional growth.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor degree in Aerodynamics or Mechanical engineering (or equivalent); Master’s preferred and PhD holders welcome.
  • •8+ years of experience in mechanical product analysis & development, preferably in the consumer electrical appliance industry.
  • •In-depth knowledge of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
  • •Hands-on knowledge of thermal measurement techniques and hardware including thermal camera, thermocouples, picoLoggers, and NI instrumentation.
  • •Working knowledge of heat transfer principles and heater system-level design is a plus.
