Job Summary

Install and repair telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction and heavy equipment, and customer assets at the Cheyenne, WY rental facility. Perform installation and troubleshooting across basic and complex wiring scenarios, including CAN network integration, while operating machinery when needed for testing. Travel within a 250-mile radius for installation cases, sometimes including on-call scheduling and occasional evenings/weekends.

Key Responsibilities

•Install and repair telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, heavy equipment, and customer assets.
•Remove and replace ignition systems and integrate communication between keypad and telematics systems.
•Handle installation scenarios from basic power/ignition/ground setups to complex wiring harness work accessing the CAN network.
•Identify and resolve problems by gathering/analyzing information and developing alternative solutions.
•Travel to client sites or EquipmentShare rental yards through the region for installation cases.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent (Trade School Certificate preferred).
•Mechanical aptitude and good with tools; hard-working and eager to learn.

•Proficiency with iPhone/mobile phone technology and basic computer navigation.
•Clean driving record, ability to pass a background check and a 10-panel drug screen; ability to travel within a 250-mile radius for up to a week at a time.
