Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead governance and compliance oversight of Marketing Funding Programs (MFP) to ensure execution aligns with AMD policies, controls, and accounting requirements.
  • •Partner with Marketing, Sales, Corporate Accounting, Legal, and Finance to interpret and apply policy and compliance requirements.
  • •Evaluate marketing funding programs, contractual commitments, and documentation to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and US GAAP requirements.
  • •Perform financial and compliance assessments to identify accounting, reporting, and control risks; monitor trends and recommend corrective actions.
  • •Support quarterly and ad hoc reviews, ensure audit-ready documentation, and prepare executive-level reporting, analyses, and audit request responses.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: MYR 135,800 - 194,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Strong understanding of ASC 606 and US GAAP, with experience applying accounting and compliance requirements to transactions.
  • •Experience in finance, accounting, compliance, audit, revenue recognition, or related functions.
  • •Demonstrated ability to evaluate marketing funding programs (e.g., rebates, incentives, channel programs) for policy and compliance implications.
  • •Experience partnering with Corporate Accounting, Legal, and Internal Audit stakeholders to drive compliant outcomes.
  • •Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; SAP experience preferred.
